Real Weddings... all the time!

Cyndell & Jamie

Cyndell & Jamie are two of the nicest, most in love people we've ever had the pleasure of sniping with our cameras. And their joyous day exhibited not just their chemistry, but also Casuarina's chic new Santai Retreat, where the girls got ready, before heading back across the border to Sol Gardens. Dressed in a light summery lace gown with a floral crown entwined in her blonde curls, Cyndell was the epitome of joy, much like the sunflowers in her hand; while Jamie was equally dapper, rocking suspenders and a cowboy hat.

Tess & Oliver

A feast for one's eyes is the only way to describe Tess & Oliver's spectacular country wedding at Byron Bay's one and only Fig Tree Restaurant. Views to the horizon, majestic century old conifers, and an open sky reception were just a few of their highlights. Understandably, the exuberant couple wasted no time jumping right into the festivities among their cherished guests, energetic bride squad, and of course their newest families.

Kristi & Luke

Co-owners of a thriving organic health shop in Melbourne, Kristi & Luke picked the gorgeous Balinese Garden Burees of Byron Bay for their elopement getaway before eventually tying the knot on the sandy shores of Little Wategos Beach. Their whimsical Boho themed decor featuring romantic pampas grass and wild dianthus were some of the most beautiful we've seen. What resulted is a collection of emotive photographs, that despite being from a real wedding, could easily have been out of a styled shoot.

Rebecca & James

Nothing encapsulates the spirit of adventure quite like braving a tropical cyclone for a wilderness shoot on your wedding day! So that's exactly what Rebecca & James decided to do one stormy afternoon at the illustrious Byron View Farm; proving that their devotion to one another is as strong and fierce as nature's elements. Their day is definitely one you need to see to believe.

Tayla & Jared

A wet start to the spring season meant that Tayla & Jared's wedding fell on a particularly sprinkly day. But far be it from them not to make the most of their special occasion regardless. Post the intimate marquee ceremony, we therefore took to the fields as well as the neighbouring creek, and had ourselves a heart-warming shoot with the picturesque Canungra Valley Vineyards as backdrop.

Mikaela & Ben

Overlooking the peaceful gully from the airy verandas of Byron's Bluewater View, Mikaela and her girls prepared themselves for the big day ahead. Until at last, they arrived under the draped arches nestled within Ewingsdale Hall's thickets, where a wholehearted Ben awaited. The rest of the day went off without a hitch, including a sunny post-shoot followed by a charming DIY reception.

Brooke & Iain

Wow. What can we say about the day that belonged to Brooke & Iain, except that we were blissfully lost in the scenic rims of the magnificent Lamington National Park. But to retrace, it all began within Worendo's Wild Lime Cottage fields, where this cute couple's intimate elopement took place. The day's clear sky then provided ideal conditions for us to benefit from the 360° views afforded by our unbelievable environment.

Yana & Tim

Festive indie vibes, wooden barrels, and delectable grazing boards around an open campfire. These are the sorts of scenes that were inherent to Yana & Tim's gorgeous rustic wedding in the heart of Numinbah Valley. As relaxed as lovers could be, we even took time out during their couples shoot to have a picnic in the midst of all the trekking through the forest-bordered prairies off Pocket Road. Totally worth seeing for nature-loving foodies.

Emily & Nick

Even after shooting at so many great places, Summergrove Estate remains one of our favourites for its unbeatable setting. And Emily & Nick's mountaintop wedding was no exception. Embellished in a Grace Loves Lace Rosa gown with leafy verdant blooms, Emily looked as elegant as the gentle breeze. Being one of the first couples also to utilize the venue's idyllic new white barn, this is a blog you surely need to check out.

Ebonie & Blair

Ebonie & Blair's free-spirited union under the native canopies of Ewingsdale Hall's century-old fig trees was everything we loved about an indie wedding. Loose braids, fresh protea bundles, alternative fashion, and an organic driftwood arbour garnished with a lush festoon. Following the ceremony, the main party then set out for a cheerful afternoon of pixel-making before returning to their amiable guests at a fairy-lit reception.

Hayley & Steve

Hayley & Steve could not have chosen a more gorgeous location to tie the knot - namely Steve's family farm in the platteland hills of Piggabeen. And as the day progressed, it became increasingly clear just how much love this couple had, not only for each other, but also their families, friends, animals, and their beautiful land. It was therefore only natural that after the ceremony, we would make our way to the summit of their World Heritage bordering property and take in the glorious panorama for their wondrous shoot, where we were even visited by a family of Kangaroos!

Rachel & Dean

When Rachel & Dean enquired with us for a destination elopement in the rural regions of Mount Mee, we jumped at the opportunity; and had an absolute blast photographing them. They were super receptive to our ideas, and as a result, we teamed up for some incredible captures in the spacious woodland-bound plains in which we found ourselves so peacefully enfolded. And everything from their bride and groom preps in rustic cabins, to their decorated marquee reception, was as magical as it was sweet.

Kenzie & Andrew

With her adorable curls and lush ribbon bouquet, Kenzie looked positively delightful, while Andrew complemented her flawlessly in a navy suit plus floral tie. And before long, their infectious smiles had everyone beaming as they overlooked the fabulous acres and shimmering lagoon of Sirromet Wines in their endearing ceremony. The bubbly newly weds then went exploring with me through some hidden pastures of the farm, before making their return to the Tuscan Terrace in time for their reception - complete with rustic barrels and a fun game of 'wedding shoes.'

Samantha & Jake

If perfection could be understood through pixels, then surely Samantha & Jake's rustic wedding at Albert River Wines would be a candidate for its definition. Warm winter sun, graceful gowns, rugged beards, tall grass paddocks, and a whole bunch of love, all came together to create the most marvellous day imaginable. So enough of us talking, let our images take you the rest of the way.

Mandi & David

Right from the time Mandi and Dave contacted us about their idea for a festive Boho wedding, we were in love with the details of their day. A relaxed outdoor ceremony by the creek, decorated with a draped bamboo arbour, retro food vans, and a cute yet spacious reception tipi speckled with cosy autumn rugs - this Pocket Road Farm celebration showcased the best that Numinbah Valley had to offer.

Courtney & Michael

It's so lovely when people email you out of the blue to tell you that your photos were what first inspired them to get married at the location they've chosen, and we couldn't be happier with Courtney and Michael's choice. Summergrove Estate, with its breathtaking views of endless rolling hills is easily one of our most-loved spots; and auspiciously, the cloudburst held off just long enough for us to come away with some resplendent imagery.

Laura & Nick

With seven bridesmaids and equally as many groomsmen, Laura and Nick's lavish, magnolia-themed gala wedding at the Sheraton Grand Mirage was fabulous in every facet. Starting with the bride and grooms' early preparations, right through to their buzzing reception, the entire day was filled to the brim with good vibes and exquisite decor.

Cally & Will

It was only fitting for avid outdoor adventurers, Cally & Will, to choose the wide open grasslands of Crams Farm at the foot of Midginbil Hill for their magnificent countryside wedding. From the girls' Bohemian floral bunches and Cally's flower crown, to the boys' matching boutonnieres, every detail on their day was spectacularly organic. And after the ceremony, we made the most of our picturesque setting, amidst a lilied lake, before rejoining everyone at a twilight reception.

Rose & Jordan

Rose & Jordan's elopement upon the mountainscape ridges of Summergrove Estate was enchanting beyond words. Adorned in a graceful, two-piece wedding dress with a lace crop top, Rose and her DIY blooms looked entirely whimsical; while Jordan matched her with a trendy combination of unique attire highlighted by a traditional Kukui necklace made from Pandanus. Even the rain that descended later that afternoon could not dampen their spirits, as they braved the squall and savoured the ensuing petrichor in a magical photo shoot.

Sarah & Alfred

With fresh petals in their hair and wild bouquets in their hands, Sarah and her bridesmaids were a lovely sight to behold. Needless to say, Alfred was captivated from the moment he saw her. This amazing couple are actually a pair of a dancer/choreographers who'd previously met in New York while touring. And everyone in their bridal party are either professional dancers who have become their closest of friends, or young dance students, who weren't the slightest bit shy to shower them with love as flower girls.
